‘Remnants’ explores a lifelong connection to the mountains.
Some of my earliest memories are tied to the towering peaks and deep valleys of the Alps, from the majestic Aletsch Glacier to the serene beauty of the Engadin. These landscapes have been a constant thread throughout my life, not only shaping my childhood but also my passion for snowboarding. Over the past 40 years, I’ve watched these mountains change, the glaciers shrinking, the winters growing shorter, and the rhythm of nature shifting. Tourism has grown, trails have filled, and yet, the essence of the Alps still pulls me back. They are more than a place to me; they are part of who I am.
The Alps holding the echoes of past memories and experiences, ‘Remnants’ gives a sense of preservation and passage.
